Griffin Studios Muay Thai was founded in San Clemente California in the Summer of 2004 near Camp Pendleton Marine Base. With an emphasis on training hand-to-hand combat techniques and martial art platforms for military special forces, executive protection agent teams, and law enforcement personnel, Griffin Studios revised their focus accepting clients for traditional self-defense classes teaching individuals, families and children martial arts, and working with apprentices pursuing a career as competitors in the martial arts MMA world. Dedication and commitment to the original style of Muay Thai has always been the goal. Griffin Studios moved to their new location in Prescott Arizona November 2020. 

An important emphasis is present with incorporating ancient techniques and the spirit of Muay Thai boxing’s predecessor style Muay Boran or ancient boxing, these elements have been woven into the fabric of each class and demonstration. Our Kru Luke Monson has trained under Thai martial art specialists in the United States and around the world. Instructors such as Victor Acosta, Kru Jace Allan, Nam Phan and instructors at Sityodtong Los Angeles. The Griffin Studios Muay Thai singular and distinct style created, Double Snake Style, has been used and perfected among fighters in professional exhibitions and arenas including but limited to UFC, K1, Pancrase, Bellator, and the PFL Professional Fighters League. Muay Thai Kickboxing is the predominant martial art practiced, however, other forms and martial art styles are taught to generate confidence and structure in every situation and environment.
